Collection: 2001-2004 (C5) Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Parts

Chevy resurrected the Z06 nameplate for the 2001 model year (not used since the C2 Z06 back in the 60s). The revived Z06 was given the aluminum LS6 power plant which was spec'd at nearly 400HP from the factory - back in 2001. This Z06 was essentially an iteration on the C4 ZR1 but while the ZR1 technically had a higher HP output the C5Z was light and could outperform the ZR1 in every way - except top speed. The C5 Z06's LS6 power plant was later used in the CTS-V sedan starting a marriage of Cadillac and Corvette that exists to this day.
