Beyond the LS3 this is one of the other most ubiquitous motors of the entire GM LS line. The LS2 was used in both cars and trucks and is the staple of many resto-mods and LS-swaps (as was the LS3). The LS2 can be bored, stroked, boosted and make horsepower numbers nearing 1000HP when setup correctly. GM put the LS2 in Corvettes, G8s, GTOs and the Trailblazer SS and many other performance cars over the years.
